What we are looking for: A Full-Time live out long term nanny/caregiver.
Job Location: We are located in the west part of St. John’s. Own transport is recommended.
Services And Training: Looking for a Private Child Care Worker/Nanny for a 2 year old and a newborn, starting in September 2021. Older child is very bright and active, and generally happy. Loves to run and play especially outdoors but also loves books and hiding/peekaboo games and generally thrives on attention. Hours would be Monday to Friday 8am-5pm in a private home in a residential area, a short drive from 2 local parks. One parent will be home on parental leave until January, then will return to FT employment outside the home. Looking for assistance balancing care for older child and newborn while on leave, then primary care of both children once returning to work. Duties to include primary care (feeding and meal prep, clothing, and hygiene) of elder child; educational activities and play/entertainment including outdoor play where appropriate: teaching age appropriate skills Maintenance of main floor (children’s space): sweeping, dish/utensil washing and tidying after meals and playtime as needed. Changing the diaper genie as needed Childrens’ laundry as neededassist with care of newborn as needed: diapering, feeding and overall careCaregiver must have code of conduct and vulnerability check completed, and baby first aid, CPR and proof of valid license and a clean driving record are strongly preferred. Previous experience regarded favourably, however enthusiasm and engagement with the children are most important. References required.
