Bilingual family of 4 living in Gatineau (Gatineau Sector) seeking an in-home caregiver for 2 overnights per week (Monday and Wednesday). Also looking for someone available to work occasionally (for example an evening a week and occasionally on weekends) (could be the same person as the overnight caregiver) to care for our 9-year-old daughter who was born with a rare medical condition and has related medical needs. Our little girl has a significant global developmental delay. Although she is 9, she is small in stature and is developmentally less than 6 months of age. She requires a ventilator to help support her breathing as she doesn’t produce enough energy to breath on her own and is fed via a gtube inserted into her belly. She is absolutely adorable and people who meet her can’t help falling in love with her at first sight.
You would be responsible for her feeds, medications, diaper changes and trach care (including suctioning of secretions). She enjoys cuddles, music, lights, and spending time outdoors and going for walks in her stroller. Did I mention cuddles?!? We provide all the training you need. NO PREVIOUS MEDICAL TRAINING REQUIRED.
Please note that we have a medium-sized dog and a cat.
