Nice to meet you! My name is Maeve and I’m just about to move to Yellowknife from Ontario at the beginning of August with 2 close friends. I am already going to already be providing some childcare for a family friend who lives in the city, but am looking for another part-time position. I have been babysitting since I was 12 (now 18) for newborns up to pre-teens, and can provide several references from different families I have helped. I have received a Babysitting Certification from the Red Cross, but am definitely open to taking more First Aid and Safety courses depending on your needs. I am a mature, responsible young woman. I am also creative and love taking the role of child care to the next level with games and outings with the kids. It makes it a lot more fun for them and for me when there’s stuff to do! I am fully vaccinated. I have experience taking care of pets (am housesitting and caring for pets during my stay in Yellowknife), and I am comfortable cooking meals. I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings, whenever you would need me! I am hoping for a position near enough to downtown as I won’t have a car.
