Hi there my name is Jackie.
Our family: We are a family of five with three children aged 8, 10, 12. My 12 year old daughter has Down Syndrome.
What we’re looking for: someone comfortable running a home who is independent, resourceful and can help manage our busy lives with housekeeping, dinner meals, lunch prep and some laundry from about noon until 4 or 5, 3-5 days a week. You also are comfortable driving (we can provide car if needed) to after school activities nearby and can help kids settle in after school from 4-5. Our children are wonderful and cooperative, but benefit from knowing their routines and what the expectations are.
Job Location: we’re located in Old Ottawa South, not far from a bus line.
Hours: we are fairly flexible with hours depending on your availability and hours could range from 15-25 hours.
Start date: As soon as possible but willing to wait for the right fit.
Pay: negotiable
Covid wise: only the 8 and 10 year olds are not yet double vaxxed. All adults in our lives are fully vaccinated and we are interested in appplicants who are similarly vaccinated.
