Hello, we are looking for after school care for our 7 year old son who is attending Lord Tennyson in the Kitsilano area for 4 – 5 days a week.
Pickup would be around 3 PM to drop off around 5 or 530 PM at our house around 16th and Burrard area. Ideally the candidate would be out with him at nearby parks playing games, sports or on outings. As we transition back from working from home into the office this could also be at our residence. We would also prefer a candidate that could work the odd evening or weekend as a babysitter when needed, but this is not essential.
As he is in French immersion, an ideal candidate would be French speaking and also be able to converse and tutor him in French to complement what he is learning in school. We are willing to pay a higher wage to a candidate who can take on this task. It is not essential that the candidate be French speaking, but it would be a bonus.
Ideally the caregiver could work 5 days a week, but we are open to those who may only have 3 or 4 days at the moment.
We are a caring and loving family that spends a lot of time together and looking for someone who can be the same.
