The short version: We’re seeking a nanny who is available long-term for two five-hour afternoon shifts each week (i.e. 10 hours per week). The days and exact duration is flexible, but 10 hours per week is the non-negotiable limit.
The full story: We have a 14 month toddler. He’s energetic, outgoing, and loving: if you match his enthusiasm, take him for walks and adventures, and talk with him while listening to music, he’ll match you with the same enthusiasm. He’s always on the move, meaning our hands are often completely full and we therefore could use help.
He sleeps in the morning, so we need someone who can do afternoon shifts. Ideally these would be two five-hour shifts, but we’re happy to work around your schedule (especially if you’re a university student working around classes) and reduce the length if needed. Our toddler does best when he can build a long-term relationship with a nanny, so we’re seeking long-term applicants only.
Our toddler only does contact naps, so he needs to be put to sleep on his mother and passed to you on a pillow. This means that family will need to be called in to help occasionally.
Buena Vista park is a five minute walk away and we are near two major bus lines if needed.
