Job Description:
Hi there my name is Andrew. I am seeking a care giver working in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. I aim to find a knowledgeable, experienced person with part-time availability.
We are a soft spoken, tolerant and open minded family of four, with two wonderful boys 10 and 12 years old) on the autism spectrum and a dog and cat who love to get involved in whatever fun is planned. As a family with limited means, affected by a few medically related challenges, you’ll be helping mom, getting to know the kids, helping with the little things to get the kids ready for activities and transportation to and from school, play and errands. You’ll be a welcome boost after a difficult year to ensure the kids have every opportunity to grow, learn and experience the world.
Our needs at the moment centre around transportation / guiding the kids to school, errands and activities with some low/ moderate supervision during outings
Any special needs experience is a bonus, but you can easily learn as you are helping mom. you are comfortable with the quirks and willing to adapt to those needs. Current schedule is flexible, as the summer winds down. Heading into the school year, the kids will need a little attention to smooth over the transition periods after and possiby before school
Services And Training:
Our family requires activity planning, transportation, and a little housework and patience to smooth over those little bumps to get the most out of life.
