Nice to meet you! My name is Robin. My husband, Brock, and I are looking to employ a full-time nanny with live-out availability to care for our one-year-old daughter. Our home is in River Heights in Winnipeg.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who will care for our daughter like she’s their own, providing safe, reliable, and loving care. Additionally, our nanny will need to:
– participate in creative, energetic, and educational activities with our daughter;
– prepare and feed her healthy meals, both bottles and solid food;
– change diapers and bathe our daughter;
– take her to activities outside of our home, like playgrounds or swimming lessons; and
– be willing to help with light housekeeping, like laundry and tidying up after our daughter.
We would prefer that our nanny meet the following criteria:
– be highly dependable and organized;
– have, or be willing to get, CPR and first aid certification;
– be fully vaccinated against Covid-19,
– have, or be willing to get, a criminal record check;
– have a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle;
– be comfortable around and with providing basic care to a medium-sized dog; and
– professional experience with childcare is preferred, but not required.
Our nanny would be paid for full time (40 hours per week), but may work fewer hours. Availability must be 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday, although many days will likely end earlier. Evening care a couple of times per month and willingness to accommodate the odd overnight stay (based on your availability) would be preferred.
